How do they work?
Dental veneers are thin, custom-made shells that are bonded to the front surface of teeth to improve their appearance.
The process typically involves removing a small amount of tooth enamel to create space for the veneers, taking impressions of the teeth, and bonding the veneers to the teeth using a special adhesive. Veneers can be made of porcelain or composite resin and can be used to correct a variety of cosmetic issues, such as stains, chips, gaps, and misshapen teeth.
What is the procedure?
You will attend an initial appointment, at which time we will take an impression of your tooth or teeth from which the veneer will be made.
Once the veneers are ready, the surface of your original tooth will be prepared to ensure that the veneer will bond securely, and the veneers will be fitted using a strong dental adhesive to hold them securely in place.
What our patients say
I have always had gappy misshapen teeth and never believed I could have the smile I have today. Thanks to dental veneers and Arnica I can’t stop smiling.
The effect dental veneers has had on my appearance is amazing, I was worried about the preparation work at first but I am so glad I went ahead. Ellie has worked wonders.
The only thing putting me off having veneers was that they might look too perfect, you know that Donny Osmond look. But they don’t, they look like beautiful natural teeth. Thank you Carelyn.
